MARCO POLO DRIVE: FROM ROME TO HONG KONG, TRAVELING WITH BYD ALONG THE SILK ROAD

Oltre Consulting partnered with BYD on the Marco Polo Drive: an extraordinary 43-day journey covering over 15,000 km along the Silk Road, from Rome to Hong Kong.

Oltre planned the trip and managed a fleet of 14 Denza and BYD vehicles, accompanying over 30 BYD guests through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

This international project saw the team engaged in logistics planning, operational coordination of the stops, day-to-day management of the drivers, as well as providing support to guests throughout the entire journey.

Sustainability, innovation, technology, and energy were central to an experience that highlighted BYD’s positioning along one of the world’s most iconic routes, fostering new connections between people, regions, and cultures.
