JAVIER ZANETTI HOSTED BY 'LE IENE' FOR HIS BOOK'S INTRODUCTION

Javier Zanetti took part in the famous TV show ‘Le Iene’ as a guest on the episode aired on Tuesday 9 January 2023. The episode was an opportunity to deepen the themes included in his recent book ‘Un Legame Mondiale – Storie di calcio fra Italia e Argentina’. The official presentation of the publication was held last Novmber in the beautiful setting of the Mondadori bookstore in downtown Milan, next to the Duomo.

“In 2021, something very strange happened: because of the pandemic, the European Championship and the Copa America were played at the same time, and for me, as a supporter of Argentina and Italy, it was a crazy football experience. It was like a film script: two teams that had not won the title for decades were both in final against the hosts. That night Messi won his first trophy with the Seleccion and, the next day, the Azzurri went to the roof of Europe. It was an incredible emotion”.
