Una Serata di Stelle per PUPI

“Una Serata di Stelle per PUPI” was presented in the City Council Chamber of the City of Naples, in the presence of the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi; the City Councilor for Sports and Equal Opportunities, Emanuela Ferrante; Javier Zanetti, founder of the PUPI Foundation; Mara Sapia, Italy Director of the PUPI Foundation; and Maria Cristina Russo, CEO of Oltre Consulting Srl.

A televised charity show that will light up Piazza del Plebiscito on September 26, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the PUPI Foundation founded by Javier Zanetti and Paula De La Fuente and supporting local organizations.

This charity event, with strong social and symbolic significance, is part of Naples’ bid to become the 2026 European Capital of Sport, with the goal of promoting sports not only as competition but, above all, as a tool for inclusion, cultural growth, and social empowerment.

International artists and guests will take the stage to create an evening that brings together music, sports, and solidarity.
“An Evening of Stars for PUPI” will also bring a genuine piece of Argentina to Naples, celebrating the passion, warmth, and deep bond that unites the two cultures. The event will pay homage to a historic anniversary for the Argentine people: the 40th anniversary of the 1986 World Cup victory, with a moving tribute to Diego Armando Maradona.
